The back-to-school routine begins to stir, and while we’re laying out clothes, checking supply lists, and filling lunchboxes, something in us is bracing.
Mothers feel it first.
In the belly.
In the breath.
In the beat between tasks.
And often, we skip the one thing that could change it all:
A sacred pause to restore our own energy.
Why Deep Rest Is Essential Now
Before your children start a new rhythm—you must return to yours.

This ritual focuses on restoring the energy centers that get depleted in maternal life:

A 10-Minute Chakra Reset with the Selenite Sword
You don’t need an hour. You just need presence.

A cozy blanket or sacred space to sit or lie down

Optional: calming essential oil or flower essence
Step-by-Step: The Ritual
1. GROUND — (Root Chakra, 2 mins)
Sit with your feet flat or lie down with knees bent.
Imagine a tap root from your tailbone extending into the ground beneath you and connecting with mother earth.
Breathe deeply.
Begin to swirl the sword counter-clockwise to remove and release all that prevents you from safety, stability and feeling grounded.
Imagine sending this release down your root into mother earth to be composted and recycled into healthy new energy.
When you feel you have released everything, begin to swirl the sword clockwise to add in the energy you want. Allow the earth energy to travel up your root into your root chakra and provide you with the safety, support and stability you are seeking.
2. EMPOWER — (Solar Plexus, 3 mins)
Moving to your Solar Plexus. This is where our “doing” energy lives, and often where overwhelm hides.
Move the sword to your belly, just above the navel. Point the tip into your body in a point hold.
Begin to breath deeply. With each inhale, draw in strength.
With each exhale, release pressure to be everything for everyone.
Allow the energy of the sword to flow into your solar plexus igniting your fire and burning away any self-doubt, helplessness and tension.
Say:
“I release what is not mine. I honor my own fire.”
3. RECEIVE — (Heart Chakra, 3 mins)
Moving to the heart space. The seat of love.
Hold the sword to your chest above your heart.
Close your eyes and feel love radiate out from your heart through your entire body. Allow it to slowly spread touching every cell in your body.
Say:
“I allow love to guide me, I allow myself to receive love. ”
Breathe deeply. Let softness fill the space where stress once sat.
This is your sacred tending.
Seal the Ritual (2 mins)
Swirl the sword around your entire body from head to toe strengthening your auric shield and increasing the amount of divine light within your field. Seal in the shifts to your energy and allow yourself a minute to bask in the soft changes.
End with a whisper of gratitude to mother earth, to your sword and to yourself.
